What is Winem8?
Section titled “What is Winem8?”Winem8 is a Shopify-integrated wine club subscription platform. It lets you offer two distinct types of subscription products to your customers:
- Curated packs — Fixed packs you set up in advance. Same wines for all subscribers in a pack.
- Custom packs — Your customers choose their own wines from a collection you make available.
Subscriptions renew automatically (or on a manual batch schedule if you’ve enabled manual renewals), with payments processed through Stripe and order data flowing into Shopify Orders.

Where things live
Section titled “Where things live”- Shopify admin — products, collections, customer accounts, orders, refunds
- Winem8 app (inside Shopify) — subscription management, renewals, settings
- Stripe — payment processing (connected to Shopify)
- Klaviyo — transactional emails and notifications (optional but recommended)
